Lady Michelle in Vogue









Michelle Obama graces the cover of Vogue. This will be out today.

I think it might be a bit early to say the First Lady the world has been waiting for, but she might come close when we look back in 4 or 8 years. Unlike Clinton and Bush she isn't that much of a divisive figure. Working women, who have to deal with balancing work and family all the time can look up to hear, and those who are more in the domestic sphere can look up to her too.

I wonder after the girls settle in what she will do. She has said she doesn't want an office, not yet anyway, but I am sure she can think of something.

On a somewhat related note I am waiting for the First Lady that continues to work while her husband, or wife, is the White House. But I might not be alive long enough to see that.
